Fishbowl is looking for an analytical individual with excellent communication skills to fill a Deliverability Analyst position. The Deliverability Analyst will report to the Sr. Manager of Deliverability and be responsible for managing ISP relationships, monitoring, researching and resolving blocking and blacklisting issues.
Responsibilities include:
• Monitor and diagnose email deliverability for all Fishbowl’s clients using internal and external tools, including blacklist monitoring, sender reputation, and inbox monitoring.
• Analyze reports on outbound emails and incoming bounce statistics to deliver insight and recommendations for deliverability improvement.
• Maintain a deep and up-to-date knowledge of the email industry and as it relates to email delivery.
• Serve as primary contact for ISP abuse desks, blacklists and anti-spam software. Setup and support whitelisting and feedback loop programs.
• Identify and resolve problems around Deliverability and provide support and escalation to resolve issues. Ability to learn Fishbowl’s email messaging platform and troubleshoot within.
• Communicate issues, troubleshoot and reinforce best practices for Support, Technology and Professional Services teams to provide guidance to maximize email deliverability.
• Monitor clients and ensure compliance with policies for list growth, list hygiene, best creative practices and CAN-SPAM compliance to maximize email deliverability.
• Compile weekly summary for management team of mailing statistics and issues.
• Provide ongoing reviews for client list hygiene and list collection sources.
• Responsible for monitoring and escalating privacy policies problems that impact client email campaigns.
• Work with technical team to troubleshoot MTA settings and make recommendations for changes related to Deliverability, Authentication and best practices.
• Participate in industry groups and attend conferences such as MAAWG.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 1 year Email Deliverability, or ISP/ESP industry experience – The candidate must be up to date with all rules, regulations and best practices of the email industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail with ability to multi-task.
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service. Must be a team player.
• Technical background is preferred.
• Knowledge of CAN-SPAM and other e-mail related regulatory compliance domestically and internationally.
• Must have a passion for analysis and troubleshooting.
• Must have knowledge of "best practices" for email creation, sending, list building and list management
• Must have understanding of email authentication standards such as Domain Keys, SPF and SenderID, etc.
